Bible Genealogy Timeline: Adam to Abraham With Dates
Genesis 5 and Genesis 11 name twenty generations in one line, from Adam to Abram. Sebastian C. Adams’ chart prints a date at every birth. Here are the ages from the King James text beside the dates on the chart.
In short: From Adam to Noah, Genesis 5 names ten generations; Genesis 11:10–26 names ten more, from Shem to Abram. On Adams’ chart Seth is born in 3874 B.C., Noah in 2948 B.C. and Abram in 1996 B.C.
Adam to Noah (Genesis 5)
The ages are those of Genesis 5 and 9:29. Adams’ dates are printed on the chart; “—” means that no A.M. year is printed.

Calculation: the ages at each son’s birth, 130 + 105 + 90 + 70 + 65 + 162 + 65 + 187 + 182, make 1056, the year Adams prints for the birth of Noah; and 1056 + 600 = 1656, the year he prints for the Flood.
On Noah’s age at the birth of his sons, Genesis and Adams are printed side by side:
32 And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
Genesis 5:32, King James Version
NOAH was 502 years old when Shem was born. Gen: 5. 32.
